HORROR, POOH AND CAPTAIN CLEGG

A lot has been going on since I last posted.

MASTERS OF HORROR
First, I had an awesome evening this weekend. Thanks to my pal Amit at [link] and Don Coscarelli for inviting me to a nice dinner with the Masters of Horror. I did poster artwork for a Drive-in show that featured many legendary horror films as well as their Masters of Horror episodes and then got to have dinner with the men behind them. It was a dream come true to have dinner with legends Don (Phantasm) Coscarelli, Angus (Tallman) Scrimm, Tom Holland ( Fright night), Larry Cohen ( It's Alive), Tobe Hooper (Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Joe Dante (The Howling), Mick Garris ( everything Stephen King ). A truly amazing night.

CAPTAIN CLEGG AND THE NIGHT CREATURES
Rob Zombie asked me to do the cover art for the band "Captain Clegg and the Night Creatures" which will be featured in Halloween 2. I'm really happy with how the piece came out. I'll post more once it is released.

WHATS COMING UP
I am about wrapped up on "My friends Tigger & Pooh". It has been a great series to have worked on for the last 4 years and I'm really proud of the work everyone involved accomplished. I am going onto some development work now which will hopefully lead to some other projects as well as trying to wrap up my film. The film is looking really cool so far. I can't wait to spill the beans about it once it is more complete. A lot different than my normal stuff but looking really nice.

Hope to get a second artbook done soon as well. Have lots of work to go in one.

Wow, it's amazing to see how much your output has slowed down in the last year. A shame for us, but good for you, presumably, as it means real life is more productive. Dinner with the Masters sounds great. I find John Gulager's inclusion kind of funny, since his contributions have been relatively recent.

YEa, John was there but not as part of the Masters of Horror but as a friend of all these guys. I should edit that out of the journal so it is not so confusing. Thanks for pointing that out.
