Artist's Comments

This is the uncropped version of the cover art for the "Devil's Rejects" comic book. You can see a lot more here than what was printed on the actual book, mainly more zombies, gravestones and caskets. I had a lot of fun drawing Rob's characters and hope to do some more soon.

sweet... I just picked this book up today. Awesome work! It was pretty fun to read, too. I liked the Otis and Baby storyline best - but then, they're my favorite rejects :D

Thanks for picking up the book. It was a lot of fun to do, I didn't get to see it finished until the SanDiego Comicon and it was great to see it all put together. Rob wrote some really funny stuff for these characters.

no problem! I've been anxious to read it. I practiced much self restraint in the comic book store, lemme tell ya. Comics for Nightmare On Elm Street, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Army Of Darkness, Shaun Of The Dead... :wow: I managed to escape with Devil's Rejects, Neverwhere, a Sonic book for my little man, and a Delirium t-shirt. I'll be needing to go back and get the rest of those books when my budget allows for it. :D

that is quite awesome. I have yet to see the movie though. is it good?

I have a biased opinion, but if you want to see something pretty overpowering and brutal, you got to go see it. If you're not into brutality and road/slasher movies of the '70's you probably won't be into it but you should see it anyway. Wether you love it or hate it, there is no doubt that this is something completely different than the mainstream dribble that comes out. In short, I really liked it.

That book was great, with Rob Zombie, I wish he'd do some pin-up work of his own characters as well, He is such a great artist himself, but we get to enjoy more of the other artists this way.

Love the detail work... It must of taken you forever and a day, to wrap this up. Maybe not... You'll probably say that it toke you less than hour after your sketch and that's just because of the incredible work in your gallery!
:D

You know I love this one, I’m really digging all of the caskets and the cemetery hill! It's cool that Baby just has two knifes, and tiny is the best! Great piece, thanks for sharing the full version.
