This was an homage/remake/cover of the Mike Ploog cover for the "Monster of Frankenstein" series Marvel put out in the 70's. I loved this cover as a kid and I am sure it influenced my work in a big way.

This is being featured today on the "Covered" website. A great site showcasing artist's renditions of comic covers. CLICK HERE [link]

Hey Ray! Good to hear from you, it's been a long, long time.

Where are you at these days

Hey man,

I've spent pretty much the last 10 years sleeping by day then donning a butcher's apron and skinned pig's head by night. With my trusty axe, I visit the homes of people that the radio tell me are demons.

Yeah I think that's about it. That and deciding Facebook is the Debil, which pretty much decimates the list of people I stay in touch with regularly.

Hope you, Kathleen and the family are doing awesome.

Great work. I loved those old issues of Frankenstein's Monster, Werewold By Night, and Tomb of Dracula.

My jaw dropped. Not only because of the art, but you captured that 70's essence. Great job.
