This piece was created for my 90,000 pageview contest. The winner got to describe a monster in detail and I would draw it up.
The winner for this contest was.... icon:anthem-to-sorrow:
This was a tough one and I took a lot of liberties with his description and just went with what felt right when I was drawing. I also got too lazy to look back at the description and just went with what I remembered. Here was his description...
"How about a snake head, with a body of a... PANTERA! With scales like feathers, with a stone texture, big fangs, not a bifid snake tounge, just a long one, red glowing eyes, and a Tentacled hairy beard... or a normal beard with tentacles in there, the beard well... it has to be purple with hot pink tentacles, or sumthing like that.
He needs to fly, so let's give him some Crow wings and finally let's build him some more details.
He will need a Big cool Helmet, a really cool viking helmet, with horns and spikes and all that cool stuff vikings have and a biiiiiiiiiiiiig Axe...
And finally... for his feather stone scales let's give him some corpse rotten green... sumthing pale and kind of fluorecent in some parts. "
With your permission, would love to include this in my group's gallery (we can be found here: [link]). Cauldron of Perils specializes in women-in-peril and sci-fi/horror b-movie style arts, and I think this piece would fit in very well. Thank you for your time and consideration!
And she's going 'I don't know!!'
