I was doodling while waiting for my computer to render some animation and ended up drawing Dr. Phibes. A really slow movie that is hard to sit through in one sitting but still has some cool visuals and art direction.

Not one of my best pieces by far but it was kind of fun doing the 70's type design to the background.

This is a movie that would be interesting to see remade. If you haven't noticed other popular movies raped and pillaged from Phibes. Look at movies like Saw or 7. Of course no one has been committed unicorn murderer in awhile...

was she sleeping in a room with guards outside? i never did see the title of the movie but i think the dude was mad cause his wife died and he was killing the hospital staff cause he thought they were to blame.the one im thinking of ended with him embalming himself or something in a grave under a floor next to his wife...
